Architecture

JudoManager Desktop contains several sub-applications called external modules. Every module has a specific role and purpose to make the competition run smoothly.

A short overview of applications:
  1. The JudoManager Desktop application (server)
    The main components application is used to run the competition. In the application you can change competition settings, manage other applications, referees, draw, plan contest order and print results/draws, etc. Read more about the JudoManager Desktop application.
  1. Accreditation module
    It is used to manage competition entries and delegations and print accreditation cards. You can set several remote accreditation points to speed up the process of accreditation. Read more about the Accreditation module.
  1. Weigh-In module
    Connect scale and QR code reader to your computer. Weigh-in module allows you to quickly weigh registered athletes. You can set up several remote weight-in points to speed up the process. Read more about the Weigh-In module.

  2. Scoreboard module
    Present contest information to the public and referees. Show display anywhere, you can also embed it to a streaming video. Read more about the Scoreboard module.

  3. Contest order module
    Show contest order in the warm-up area, in the hall or on the big screen. Different modes like contestants view, referee view and commentator view are available. Read more about the Contest Order module.

  4. Draw Display module
    Show the draws to the public or coaches. Or stream it live. Read more about the Draw Animation module.

  5. Coach Assistant module
    Coach Assistant is a module that shows coaches when a competitor from their club, region, or country is scheduled for a contest. It allows the coach to quickly see on which tatami the athlete will compete and how many contests remain before the athlete's contest. This helps ensure the coach and athlete are ready on time at the correct tatami. Read the full Coach Assistant module guide.
  1. JudoNet module
    Application that forwards live packets (such as contest time and score) from scoreboards to an API for processing, depending on the type of competition being run (JudoManager or IJF). Processed packets can be displayed on live.ijf.org service. Read more about the JudoNet module.
