Withdrawal and Status Updates in Contest Order
Withdrawal and Status Updates in Contest Order
During competitions that use a double-repechage system, situations often arise where a competitor is unable to continue due to injury or other reasons. In such cases, the competitor might still appear in the repechage matches. To address this, the program now includes functionality to clearly mark competitors who are unable to continue directly in the Contest Order and on the Scoreboard.
This ensures the following:
Clear Identification:
- Competitors who have withdrawn are visually marked in the Contest Order, preventing confusion during the competition.
Efficient Management:
- By marking the status, staff will not wait for or call the competitor for further checks, such as the judo-gi control.
Seamless Flow of Matches:
- Properly marking competitors helps streamline match management and avoids unnecessary delays in the competition schedule.
With this functionality, organizers can better handle cases of withdrawal or disqualification while maintaining clarity for all involved parties.
Set status
Additional statuses have been added for cases where a competitor will not participate due to injury, illness, or other reasons. In the Contest Order, a new option has been added to the right-click menu: "Set Status". The following statuses are available:- Withdrawal
- Disqualify - Retain Results
- Shime Waza - Unconscious
- Disqualify - Remove Results
If a competitor is assigned the status Withdrawal Next Contest, they will be crossed out in the Contest Order for their next contest.
The competitor will be crossed out both on the Scoreboard and in the Contest Order module.
