Countries, Provinces and Regions
This section is used to manage the geographic structure within your federation. Each user with the Country Administrator role can view and edit their own country's data, including translations, provinces, and regions.
🌍 Countries
As a Country Administrator, you will see only the country assigned to your account.
✏️ Editing country details
- Go to Register → Countries
- You will see the name of your country listed (e.g. Slovenia)
- Click the ✏️ Edit icon on the right
🌐 Translations
In the editing view, you can:
- Adjust the country name translations for each supported language
- Edit the IOC code and ISO code
💡 This is useful if a translation is missing or incorrect (e.g. French, German, etc.)

🏞️ Provinces
Provinces represent administrative divisions within the country (optional but useful for organizing clubs, licenses, and competitions).
➕ Add a new province
- Go to Register → Provinces
- Use the country dropdown (should already be selected)
- Click the New province button
- Fill in the following fields:
- Title and Official Title
- International Title (optional)
- Select the Country (preselected)
- Click Save

🗺️ Regions
Regions are broader areas that group provinces together. These can reflect official administrative divisions or be used to define competition zones (e.g. East, West, North).

➕ Add a new region
- Go to Register → Regions
- Make sure the correct Country is selected
- Click the New region button
- Enter the Title and Official Title
- Click Save
✏️ Edit existing region
- In the region list, click the ✏️ Edit icon next to the region name
- You will access the region detail view, where you can:
- 🖼️ Upload region logo
- Use the Logo section on the right
- Upload a representative image or map
- The image will be stored and shown to other users
- 👤 Add contact information
- Click Add in the Contacts section
- Enter the Contact type (e.g., Email, Phone), the Contact info, and the Contact person
- Useful for assigning a regional representative or support contact
- 📜 View log history
- In the Log section, you can track all actions taken on the region:
- Who created or updated it
- When it was modified
- What was changed (e.g., “image uploaded”, “contact removed”)
📌 Why is this important?
The country, region, and province structure plays a key role when creating and managing clubs.
Each club is assigned to a specific country, region, and (optionally) a province.
Having these data properly defined is essential if you plan to:
- Organize national-level competitions
- Filter clubs or competitors by region
- Host regional or provincial championships
- Generate accurate reports and statistic gruped by area
💡 We strongly recommend setting up this structure before adding clubs to ensure data consistency and proper competition segmentation later on.
