Database concept (backup - restore local database)

To ensure your data is securely saved, we recommend regularly backing up your database. Follow these steps to do so. Backing up your database is like creating a safety net for your data. It's important because:
  1. Protection from Accidents: If something goes wrong (like deleting data accidentally), you can restore your information from the backup.

  2. Security Blanket for Disasters: In case of a big problem (like a computer crash or a fire), having a recent backup means you can get your data back and running quickly.

How to create a database backup:

1. Open the JudoManager program.
2. Click on the "Data" tab.
3. Click on the database icon and select the "Backup database to file" option.
Before performing a database backup, you must stop the service.

Restore database from file

Click on "Restore database from file." The "Explorer" window will open. Choose the folder where you have saved the database, select it, and confirm by clicking the Open button.

Backup database to cloud

You can also use the "Backup database to cloud" option for the backup.

When you press the "Backup database to cloud" button, the program will commence the database backup process. The program will display a notification.

Once the "Wait" warning disappears, the backup is successfully completed.

Restore backup from Cloud

Once the "Backup database to cloud" process is complete, you can press "Restore database from Cloud" at any time. A new window will open, displaying your backup databases. Choose the backup database you want, and double-click on the selected backup to initiate the restore process.

When you select a backup for restore, a new window will appear, cautioning you that the current database will be replaced with the selected backup. You must confirm your choice by typing the word "Yes". Then click the OK button.

Automatic data backup

You also have the option of automatically executing backup files. In the settings, you can set the time interval for creating backups. Do this by opening the settings, navigating to Advanced settings, and selecting the Backup tab. Then, you can check File System and choose the folder where you want to store backup copies.
