1. Repechage type: Choose your
Repechage types from the list. You can choose between Double repechage,
Best-8, No repechage , Single repechage, Full repechage.
Draw type: Choose your draw
type from the list where you can choose between Standard, IJF, Croatia and
Austria and Brasilian.
2. Configuration: You can configure which draw is chosen for various category sizes by clicking on »Configure«.
In the pop up window you can switch between various draw options for each category. Before you can choose another draw system you first need to uncheck the »Use default« checkbox.
4 athletes: You can choose between RR (standard round robin) and IJF semi + final (two semi final matches followed by finals and bronze matches).
5 athletes: You can choose between RR (standard round robin) and IJF 2 RR + 2x final (Two groups, one with 2 athletes and the other with 3, each group following the standard round robin system. Group winners go to the final match and runners up to the bronze match).
6 athletes: You can choose between Pool system (standard IJF pool system), 2 groups + final (two standard round robin groups, group winner go to finals match, group runners up receive bronze), 2 groups + semi + final (two standard round robin groups, group winners and runners up go to semi finals, semi finals winners go to finals, losers receive bronze medals) and RR (round robin).
7 or 8 athletes: You can choose between Pool system (standard IJF pool system), 2 groups + final (two standard round robin groups, group winner go to finals match, group runners up receive bronze) and 2 groups + semi + final (two standard round robin groups, group winners and runners up go to semi finals, semi finals winners go to finals, losers receive bronze medals).
9, 10 athletes: You can choose between Pool system (see above) and 2 groups + final (see above).
Categories with more then 10 athletes always use Pool system.
After
selecting your preferred draw system click on »Save«.
It is possible to use different draw configurations for different age categories on the same competition. First you set draw configuration for one age category and complete the draw. After the draw is complete, go back to Draw configuration and change the settings for the new age category. Make sure the draw is correct, before you change the settings. If you have different settings for different age categories and you have to make any changes to the draw, you always have to check the settings are correct.
3. Competitor optimal distribution: you can chose between clubs, regions, schools and countries. This distributes the competitors from the same country/club/school/region in such a way that they meet as late as possible in the bracket. Level 1 rule is taken into account first, followed by Level 2 rule.
