Manual Graphics

Operations for non-automated sequences and supplementary information are divided into two tabs at the bottom of the interface: the MEDALISTS tab and the LOWER 3rd tab.

Custom Text Graphics (LOWER 3rd Tab)

Operators can generate custom announcements (such as commentator names, VIP guests, or event updates) by navigating to the LOWER 3rd tab. The interface provides specific modules to format your text:


  1. SINGLE LINE: Features three separate text input fields for basic, single-row announcements. Each field has its own dedicated ONAIR button to push the text directly to the stream.
  2. SINGLE LINE - COUNTRY: Features three separate input rows that pair a text box with a dropdown menu. This allows the operator to select a specific country code to display the corresponding national flag alongside the text. Each row has an ONAIR button.
  3. DUAL LINE: Provides two separate blocks containing two text fields each. This is used for primary and secondary text (e.g., an individual's Name in the top box and their Title in the bottom box). Each block is triggered by an ONAIR button.
  4. DUAL LINE - COUNTRY: A dual-line block that also includes a country dropdown menu before the text fields, allowing for a flag, a primary name, and a secondary title.


Medalists & Award Ceremonies Workflow (MEDALISTS Tab)

At the end of a competition block, the stream requires graphics for the awarding ceremonies and tournament standings. Navigate to the MEDALISTS tab, which is split into two sections:


MEDALISTS - FOR SELECTED WEIGHT CAT.

This section generates the podium graphics for specific weight categories by pulling data from the cloud:
  1. Click Get weights to connect to JudoBase and retrieve the list of all completed weight categories. Alternatively, operators can check the manual weight ID and manual comp ID boxes and type numeric values to force a specific weight category from a specific competition.
  2. Select the desired weight category from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click Get medalists for selected weight. This populates the internal table with the top competitors (displaying their place, orderNumber, Country, familyName, and givenName) by fetching the final official results from JudoBase.
  4. At the bottom of this section, enter the specific Competition name (using a ";" to force a line break across 2 lines). If you check the IJF World tour logo box, the IJF logo will be included in the graphic.
  5. Click the large MEDALISTS button to push the full podium results graphic to the live stream as the physical ceremony begins.


  1. Individual Highlights: To highlight a single competitor currently standing on the podium, select their row in the table and click the SELECTED MEDALIST button.

MEDALS PER COUNTRY

This section generates the overall tournament medal standings template:
  1. Click Get medals to retrieve the current country standings from JudoBase. This populates the table showing the country codes, long names, and the count for Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals.
  2. Set the Competition name in the provided text field and check the IJF World tour logo box to ensure IJF logo is rendered on the graphic. If needed, you can also toggle Show AIN to apply flag for Individual Neutral Athletes.
  3. Click ALL MEDALS to trigger the main standings graphic on the live stream.

FAQ

  1. How do I display the final podium results for a medal ceremony? Navigate to the MEDALISTS tab. In the left section, click "Get weights", select the desired weight category from the dropdown, and click "Get medalists for selected weight". Once the table populates and you have verified your competition name and the IJF World tour logo toggle, click the large MEDALISTS button to push the full graphic to the live stream.
  2. Can I show a graphic for just one specific person on the podium? Yes. After fetching the medalists from JudoBase in the MEDALISTS tab, select the specific competitor's name in the data table and click the SELECTED MEDALIST button. This sends a lower-third graphic highlighting only that single competitor.
  3. How do I put a guest commentator's name on the screen? Navigate to the LOWER 3rd tab. Enter the person's name into one of the provided text blocks (such as the SINGLE LINE or DUAL LINE modules) and click the adjacent ONAIR button to display it immediately.
  4. How do I display the overall country medal standings? In the MEDALISTS tab, locate the "MEDALS PER COUNTRY" section on the right side. Click "Get medals" to fetch the current data from JudoBase, check IJF World tour logo toggle, and then click ALL MEDALS to push the graphic to stream. You can use the PLAY NEXT PAGE <-- button to cycle through the complete list.
