What is JudoManager Desktop

JudoManager Desktop is a simple, connected, and powerful desktop application for managing judo tournaments—end to end. It runs locally (even without internet) for maximum stability in the venue, and it’s tightly integrated with a cloud database administered via JudoManager Admin.

How it connects

A bidirectional API keeps Desktop and the cloud in sync. Changes made on Desktop are reflected online and can be managed through JudoManager Admin — ensuring consistent, unified data. For safeguarding data, see the database backup guide.

What it does

  1. Runs the event end to end: registrations, accreditations, weigh-in, draw, groups and schedules, contest order, results, printouts.
  2. Drives venue screens: scoreboards, live results, and other on-site displays.
  3. Publishes online automatically: live results (and streams when enabled) are automatically pushed to portal.judomanager.com.
  4. Handles video workflow: recording and automatic contest cutting via FairReplay, linked to scoreboard events.
  5. Saves and exports data: local database, backups, PDF/Excel outputs.

Built-in services

  1. Automatic live publishing to portal.judomanager.com
  2. Live video streaming directly to portal.judomanager.com, YouTube, and JudoTV
  3. Real-time presentation of results and scoreboard data for venue screens
  4. FairReplay video workflow: automatic recording & cutting, with scoreboard-linked metadata for quick uploads (e.g., YouTube/Vimeo)
  5. Referee support: modern FairReplay tools to review critical actions and support precise decisions

Why it's simple

  1. Logical workflow: Setup → Entries → Accreditation → Weigh-in → Draw → Contest Order → Scoreboards → Results.
  2. Smart defaults and clear wizards reduce clicks.
  3. Enter once—use everywhere: data entered once is available across all modules (draw, scoreboard, results, video).

Why it's connected

  1. Modules work as one system:
  2. Accreditation, Weigh-in, Draw Display, Scoreboard, Contest Order, Special Needs, Packet Sender/UDP, FairReplay.
  3. Accurate match data flows between modules (e.g., from scoreboard to video cuts).

Who uses it

  1. Event organizers and technical leads
  2. Table officials and scoreboard operators
  3. Referees (via FairReplay support)
  4. Coaches and teams (through clear schedules and printouts)

Key objectives & benefits

  1. All-in-one solution for athletes, coaches, referees, and spectators
  2. Faster events with fewer errors and professional presentation
  3. Rich data collection: results, scores, head-to-head stats, and video
  4. Post-event analytics & reporting
  5. Centralized operations at federation level (referees, coaches, belt grading, rankings, registrations) via the cloud Admin

How it's build

  1. Local event database (easy backups and archiving)
  2. Presentation services (scoreboards, results to screens/projectors)
  3. Video integration via FairReplay (cuts aligned with real contest events)

InfoIn short: JudoManager Desktop is a single, simple, and connected system that lets your tournament run smoothly—on site and online—from the first registrations to the final result and organized video clips.
